One stone. A little company. Time to unwind.

Kifu Garden is a pixel-art idle sandbox where little creatures bring Go (Weiqi / Baduk) game records to life. A mochi rabbit, a little sprout, a mossy pebble, a cheerful chick: each has a life of its own, and together they carry every black and white stone into place.

A little life behind every move

Watch companions climb into stone bowls, team up to carry stones, straighten a misplaced piece, and collect captured stones. When a game ends, they clear the board and begin the next record. Some work hard. Some stop for a snack. Some would rather nap.

Your favorite games become a garden

Enjoy included historic Go records or import SGF files to build your own looping library. Pause or speed up whenever you like. You can enjoy the creatures and shape their garden without knowing the rules of Go.

Their home, your little world

Place rocks and fences to change their routes. Add flowers and lanterns, provide feeding stations and shelters, and expand their house with furniture. Peek inside to see companions resting and playing. Grass grows, day becomes night, and weather and seasons change with the game's own clock.

A hundred companions to discover

Companions have different diets and talents. Growth, evolution, and breeding lead to new discoveries. When monsters arrive, your companions and defensive structures work together to protect the garden. Hunger, health, lifespan, death, and new generations are all part of this living world.

In your garden

  • Automatic Go record playback with cooperative stone carrying, captures, and cleanup

  • SGF importing, a record library, pause, and fast-forward

  • 100 companion species and 58 monster species to discover

  • Garden structures, house expansions, and furniture

  • An in-game day/night cycle, weather, and seasons

  • Name your companions, mark favorites, and follow their lives

The next move is a team effort.
