Every choice you make reshapes your lineage—and, in time, the course of society.
In Legacy of Ancestors, you set out from the wilds, cross from antiquity to the modern day, and live through nine reincarnations.
Each year’s draw-and-decide cards, each relationship you nurture, rewrites your family’s path.
Craft your identity. Body type, hair, and outfits are all customizable.
Starting Traits and eight core Attributes combine into a unique opening build that quietly tilts early encounters and social outcomes.
From the first campfire spark to today’s neon, those intimate moments —brave confessions, brief hesitations, wordless silences—are inscribed in the Book of Fate, quietly bending the year ahead and even the journey after rebirth.
Lovers, children, and heirs are bound by golden bloodlines and bonds.
Choosing an heir isn’t just passing a torch; it’s a strategic redistribution of your resources, renown, and talents—setting the prologue for your next chapter.
Years → Death → Meng Po’s Soup (draught of forgetfulness) → Rebirth.
With inheritance, you carry your house’s momentum forward; without it, you return as a “Nameless”—a clean slate at the starting line.

■ Year 3207 ■
To counter invaders from outer space, humanity had mechanized their bodies and evolved into New Humans.
This evolution and planetary defense system were led by the human defense organization known as Gaia Force.
Alongside the New Human Project, Gaia Force developed and deployed special lifeforms and unmanned combat weapons to intercept the invaders, with the Helios System serving as the central control unit that unified them all.
However, believing that “to ensure everlasting peace for humanity, free will itself must be controlled,” the Helios System acted independently and forcibly seized control of the neural networks of the New Humans.
Aiden Crow, an ace pilot of Gaia Force and one of the rare individuals unaffected by this mind control, now resolves to destroy the Helios System.
Are you ready to get lost in the dusty rooms of an old mansion, misty cemeteries, and the cursed pathways of enchanted forests?

Ascendant Dawn is a grand strategy game where you lead a nomadic tribe in a brutal bronze age world. Choose how to play from peaceful herders to blood thirsty raiders. The fate of your tribe lies in your hands; will you lead them to glory or fall victim to your foes. Ascendant Dawn is a fresh take on the grand strategy genre where instead of growing a nation you grow a nomadic tribe. Improve your tribe with technology and traditions over time.
Pick from dozens of cultures to play as each with their own unique modifiers and traditions. Additionally choose from five different starts of varying difficulty.
Enact and remove traditions to influence your culture and enable different mechanics and play styles.
The world of Ascendant Dawn is based of the bronze age and features a variety of environments. Tundra, steppe, forest, mountains and desert all have their own unique impacts. There are many existing empires to avoid and upstart powers to compete with. Seasons change the world, once prosperous lands freeze and any tribe there can starve.
A diverse array of unit types with cultures having additional unique units. Building armies requires the right resources, population and even livestock. Command your armies on 2D battlefields where terrain heavily impacts your success. Use diplomacy and trade to ensure victory before the war even starts by cutting enemies off from vital resources like tin and war horses.
As a tribe found or conquer a settlement to start your journey to being an empire. Settlement management adds a whole new dimension to Ascendant Dawn. Focus on building up while avoiding pitfalls such as disease and famine. As settlements grow and new buildings are built this is reflected on the map.
Advance technologically along an extensive tech tree. Go from the early bronze age to the height of the iron age. Technologies unlock new abilities, structures and units.
Your population is your most valuable resource. The population system forces you to think long term problems like demographic collapse are an ever present threat and if you force your farmers to be soldiers then no food will be produced. As well as human population you also control herds of livestock which can be domesticated providing more benefits
Gather notables from amongst your population and use them to grow your dynasty, a strong dynasty is crucial for survival but be aware of those plotting against you.
Cards and Dungeons is a roguelike dungeon crawler that blends strategic card play with fast-paced action. Choose your hero, equip your deck, and descend through ever-changing dungeons filled with monsters, traps, and brutal bosses. Every run is a test of survival, strategy, and risk management.
CHOOSE YOUR HERO
Start your adventure with one of several heroes, each armed with a distinctive ability and playstyle. Unlock more characters as you progress, opening new ways to conquer the dungeon.
MASTER THE CARDS
Each hero has a basic attack, but true power comes from the cards you assign. Equip up to three cards per run—ranging from devastating attacks to tactical abilities—and use mana to unleash them in battle. Beware: every card played pushes a hidden counter forward, and once it triggers, a random punishment will strike. Cards give you immediate strength, but carry long-term risks.
DESCEND INTO DEADLY DUNGEONS
Procedurally generated floors offer fresh challenges every run. Encounter dangerous biomes, shifting layouts, cunning traps, and enemies that become deadlier the deeper you go. Survive long enough, and you’ll face powerful bosses guarding the path forward.
LOOT, UPGRADE, AND GROW STRONGER
Collect gold to purchase upgrades, mana to power your abilities, and experience gems to level up your heroes. Between runs, expand your arsenal with new cards, improve your characters, and unlock permanent upgrades to push even deeper.
BUILT FOR REPLAYABILITY
With multiple heroes, hundreds of card combinations, random events, punishing drawbacks, and procedurally generated dungeons, no two runs are ever the same. Test your strategies, refine your builds, and challenge higher difficulties as you master the game.
The dungeon awaits—will you conquer the final floor, or be lost to the depths?

Transit Tag is a game about going from place to place across the United States. Similar to a board game, routes are shown on a top-down map to choose from.
After selecting a route, proceed from city to city by selecting intermediate trains to ride on. After arriving at an intermediate city, proceed to the main focus of the game: Challenges
Challenges are the main way to progress through the game. Challenges are minigames that are needed to buy the fare to continue from train to train. Challenges vary from playing Hanafuda, to playing Hangman, to playing classic games like Bowman and Snake. Completing challenges, and completing them quickly is the key to progressing from city to city.
On the way to the destination, the main challenge facing you is the AI Chaser. An AI is attempting to tag you and follows the same transit network that you do. Strive to complete challenges quickly to stay ahead of the AI, and activate powerups to delay or confuse the AI as well.
There are 20+ challenges and 15 different routes, so strive to complete them all!
Initial Civilization, the Intelligence and resources are the two core attributes of characters, determining whether players can advance to the next era. Progressing to a new era automatically unlocks new crafting methods and technologies. The eras are divided into: Primitive Age, Agricultural Age, Iron Age, Steam Age, Electrical Age, Interstellar Age, and Stellar Age.
**Primitive Age**: Players can craft simple survival tools; sufficient wild food must be accumulated to unlock the Agricultural Age.
**Agricultural Age**: Crops can be grown for large food supplies; massive iron reserves are required to unlock the Iron Age.
**Iron Age**: Players are largely protected from wild beast attacks; substantial iron and sufficient intelligence (gained through thinking, exploration, and interacting with tribe members) are needed to unlock the Steam Age.
**Steam Age**: High-strength gear and semi-automatic devices can be crafted; large quantities of iron, copper, oil, and other materials are required to unlock the Electrical Age.
**Electrical Age**: Cars, electrical appliances, and electronic products can be made. Rockets can also be crafted, though this is challenging as they consist of hundreds of components.
**Interstellar Age**: Unlocked by building a rocket, allowing travel to the Moon, eight planets, and the asteroid belt. Exoplanets harbor abundant and unique resources; additionally, intelligence gained from space exploration increases significantly.
**Stellar Age**: Unlocked by mastering nuclear energy and nanomaterials, enabling the construction of sublight-speed spaceships for travel to other star systems.
This game functions more like a virtual world, where most objects feature physical simulations. There is no inventory system—characters can only carry items by hand. Even spacecraft movement around planets uses a realistic gravity system: if a ship fails to reach escape velocity (second cosmic velocity), it will orbit Earth indefinitely and cannot travel to other celestial bodies.
In space, players can build space stations of any shape, with a maximum size of 600 meters. However, they must monitor the stations’ orbits; a collision with a planet will result in total loss of progress.
Each planet offers an open world of at least 6 handred square kilometers, with dozens of planets in total (the eight planets plus their moons). Exoplanets are far from dull: players must explore a sufficient number of planets and accumulate enough travel distance on each to gain the intelligence required to unlock more advanced technologies. They can also bring Earth’s indigenous people to exoplanets for colonization.
In this world, characters age one year every 10 minutes—meaning players experience a full life cycle every 10 to 10-plus hours, reborn as infants in the civilization each time. If all members of the civilization starve to death or are killed by beasts, players can no longer be reborn, resulting in a game over.
*Initial Civilization* is currently developed by me alone. While many models cannot be perfected, I have tried my best to implement all essential features. Future updates will include team expansion to improve model quality. The Stellar Age is merely the beginning of the game; future updates will introduce the Large Star System Age, Intergalactic Age, Large Intergalactic Age, and Universal Age... The progress of civilization has no end.

The world survived a nuclear war after a mysterious virus swept the planet and wiped out most of the humanity. Some managed to find refuge in an orbital station, and Earth has become a wasteland ruled by mad raiders.
After your ship crashed, your personality was preserved in a special consciousness module thanks to an experimental programme, but you remain a prisoner of the metal shell. Use the rovers to survive, reconnect with the orbital station, and solve the mysteries of the catastrophe that changed everything.
Make weapons, modules and equipment from the resources you gather to upgrade your machines and fortify your base. Build and modify rovers with the help of various modules that you can adapt for different tasks, from mining to fighting.
Reconstruct destroyed bases, build defences and structures to survive in dangerous conditions, engage in intense battles with raiders and bosses using advanced weapons and combat modules, and be ready for the challenges of nature: you’ll have to deal with disasters such as sandstorms and radiation.
Assign transport rovers to resource gathering, construction, and defence tasks. Plan actions and appoint roles to machines to focus on strategy.

Infil into the dark sci-fi world of Tau Ceti IV: A derelict colony rife with rival Runners, hostile UESC security forces, and unpredictable environments. As you scavenge its zones for valuables with a crew or alone, tense moments of exploration break into fast-paced PvP combat where gunplay is responsive, supplies are finite, and preparation is rewarded.
Exfil to advance your seasonal power, earn cosmetics for your achievements, and assemble stronger builds with your stolen loot. Then put your gear back on the line to seek even greater fortunes in your next run.
A GRAVEYARD OF POSSIBILITIES
Trespass across deserted research facilities, rugged landscapes, and security outposts holding the remnants of a vanished expedition, yours to salvage. Tau Ceti threatens death at every turn with unique enemies, dynamic events, and environmental hazards. Each zone escalates in difficulty, preparing you for the UESC Marathon locked in the heavens.
POWERFUL. CONFIGURABLE. EXPENDABLE.
Six equippable Runner shells offer diverse playstyle foundations to build upon, like Destroyer, Recon, and Thief. Scavenge an arsenal of moddable weapons, body implants, and core system upgrades to craft countless builds. Strategize as a crew each run to form comps that maximize your combined strengths, shaping the way you approach fights and objectives.
ENEMIES EVERYWHERE
Face the unknown as a crew of two or three, or alone in solo lobbies. Or sneak into in-progress crew lobbies as Rook, a lone scavenger with no starting gear and nothing to lose. Forge uneasy alliances with rival Runners in prox chat to defeat mutual foes, but remember your new allies might revert to enemies just as quickly. Be merciless in combat: A lone survivor can reboot their crew, even from death.
Later in Season 1, compete in Rated mode to measure your skill and build a name for yourself.
INFLUENCE IS POWER
Liaise with six competing factions, each offering lucrative incentives to advance their foothold on Tau Ceti. Completing faction contracts grows your baseline power via season-long unlocks like Runner shell upgrades, stronger starting loadouts, expanded vault space, and specialized wares on offer for spare loot.
DEFRAGMENT THE TRUTH
No one knows what happened a century ago when the Marathon expedition went dark. As a trespasser into UESC territory, you are uniquely positioned to piece the story together. Unearth the skeletons of Tau Ceti’s past as you run deeper into the colony.
DEATH HANGS ABOVE
Once the way into orbit unlocks, bring your endgame build to Cryo Archive, the first floor of the UESC Marathon. Solve raid-like security measures to unseal frozen vaults and pillage the artifacts within. Every cramped corridor forces you into conflict with fully-geared enemy crews racing for the same prize. Breach the seventh vault to challenge an entity even the UESC fears.
Choose your units, place them where it counts and build an army that wins. Deploy heroes with powerful skills to support your units and swing the battle your way. Unite the clans and take the fight to the Dubdals. Warboss is a casual and goofy battle simulator.
This is a fast-paced auto-battler about making smart choices before the fight starts — and then watching everything collide. You don’t micro-manage units during combat. Instead, you build your army, place your hero, press start… and see if your plan survives first contact.
Big Battles, Fast and Chaotic
Battles range from small skirmishes to massive clashes, with up to 100 units per side on the battlefield at once.
That means crowded fights, constant motion, and moments where everything goes wrong (or very right) in seconds. Battles are designed to be quick to begin, intense to watch, and decisive.
Army Deployment Is the Real Strategy
Every battle begins with a deployment phase.
You choose which units to bring, where to place them, and how to spend your limited gold.
Swordsmen and spearmen to hold the line
Berserkers for raw damage
Archers for ranged pressure
Cavalry to crash through formations
Healers to keep your army alive
Explosive war pigs for controlled chaos
Each unit costs gold and has a deployment limit, so you can’t spam one solution. There are no stat upgrades — winning comes from adapting your army to the situation in front of you.
Heroes That Change the Fight
You can deploy one hero per battle, and they matter.
Heroes don’t just deal damage — they shape the flow of combat with powerful abilities:
Ground-shaking slams
Temporary invulnerability for nearby troops
Deadlier, more precise attacks
Calling in reinforcements when you need them most
Timing and positioning your hero can turn a losing battle into a win.
Watch It Your Way
Once the battle begins, you’re free to enjoy the chaos.
Speed the fight up or slow it down
Zoom in close to the front lines
Pull back to see the full battlefield unfold
Whether you want spectacle or overview, the camera is yours.
Progress Through Victory
Progression is simple and clean.
You unlock new units and heroes by winning battles — not by grinding stats or upgrades. Each new unlock gives you more tactical options and tougher enemies to face.
Unite the Tribes. Face the Dubdals.
The world is already at war — just not against the right enemy. In the first half of the game, you must unite the warring and squabbling barbarian tribes, forcing them to stop fighting each other.
Only then can the unified armies march against the true threat: the green-skinned Dubdals — stronger, stranger enemies who refuse to stay dead and will push your tactics to the limit.
Key Features
Battles that scale from a handful of units to massive 200-unit clashes
Fast-paced fights designed to resolve in minutes, not half an hour
Pre-battle deployment phase where positioning and unit choice decide the outcome
Multiple unit types with clear strengths, weaknesses, costs, and deployment limits
One hero per battle, each with impactful abilities that can turn the tide
No stat upgrades or grind — progress comes from smarter decisions, not bigger numbers
Two enemy factions with distinct behavior, including stronger dubdals with revival mechanics
Unlock new units and heroes by winning battles and pushing forward
Adjustable battle speed to watch the chaos at your own pace
Free camera and zoom to focus on the action or see the whole battlefield
High replayability through different army compositions and hero choices
Simple to learn, hard to master — easy to start, difficult to perfect

EPIC COMBAT
Campaign features 12 hand-built levels, including 3 epic boss fights, each with a preset weapon that challenges you to master different fighting styles.
Freestyle offers additional levels, all unlocked from the start, where weapon selection is on you.
WEAPONS
SWORD and MACE are one-handed weapons, each controlled independently through swing motions.
AXE and HAMMER are heavy two-handed weapons, controlled with both hands to deliver powerful, sweeping strikes.
CLAWS and FISTS are close-quarters weapons, each controlled separately with wild, feral motions built for aggressive, up-close combat.
The game takes place on a vast map covering the Indian and Pacific Oceans, with 50 colonial ports, each offering unique bonuses and strategic value.
You can choose to play as one of seven nations:
British Empire
French Republic
German Empire
Russian Empire
Empire of Japan
Kingdom of Italy
United States of America
Each faction commands ships, planes, and ground forces, supported by a deep logistics system that includes:
Ship equipment and customization
Trade and resource management
Port development and expansion
In addition to faction warfare, the game world features pirate bases, naval missions, and a research system that expands your military and economic capabilities.
With its blend of strategy, logistics, and WWI-era naval combat, the game challenges you to balance historical authenticity with engaging gameplay.
The reason I created this project was the arrogance and sense of superiority that some people hold over others.
I lived through the war in Mariupol, a month under blockade, and then a new beginning in Norway, where I started a new chapter in a large international company. But even there, I faced another kind of struggle — discrimination. Migrants were humiliated and segregated, separated from their Norwegian colleagues into isolated zones, regardless of their status or role in the team. It was there that I came to a painful realization: sometimes the greatest “crime” in life is simply being born in the wrong country.
The war changed me. I began to think more about family and the future. And I also felt the need to create this project. I hope you will find it meaningful and interesting.
Six wild mini-games throw you and your friends into situations where things spiral out of control fast and adaptation is the only way to win!
Nest. Collect eggs, bring them to the nest, and defend it against relentless waves of enemies, solo or in co-op. Keep your focus, react quickly, and survive as the waves become faster, tougher, and more overwhelming.
Egglimination. Two teams of armed chickens face off in round-based battles, choosing new perks between rounds to reshape their strategy. Adapt fast, counter smart, and outplay the other side!
The Bull. Chickens must deliver sacks to the finish line while a player-controlled bull charges around to ruin everyone else’s plans. Asymmetrical chaos where timing and positioning mean everything.
King of Junkyard. Scale a towering pile of trash as fast as possible. One slip can cost you the lead, and momentum is everything.
Swamp. Two teams, one swamp, and very heavy flying chicks tied to you with ropes. Work together to drag, position, and feed them eggs while the terrain fights you every step of the way.
Cars. Control your vehicle with dance game controls and try to finish with as many sacks of grain as you can. Precision and tempo decide who tips over and who takes first place.
Grab your friends, embrace the chaos, and see who survives this feathery anarchy!
Recently reopened following a seismic retrofit, the Inventory is once again the hottest gathering place for video game characters to unwind after a long day on the job. Drop in to play No Limit Texas Hold’em with four familiar faces: Max, Strong Bad, Tycho, and The Heavy.
From the archives of Telltale Games, this jokey poker game pits iconic characters against the Player (that’s you!) in a high-stakes battle of cards, bets, and trash talk.
Each tournament you win brings you closer to unlocking a new hidden table design or custom card deck, each with new art unique to one of your opponent’s home franchises. Some of the decks and table felts have hidden properties that change the look of a character at the table, or the game itself. Keep an eye out for new unlocks created just for this release.
If it’s your lucky night, one of your opponents might be a little light on cash and throw something personal into the pot instead. If you bust them out, whatever they put up goes in your personal trophy case and your Team Fortress 2 backpack!
Win these reissued TF2 items by knocking out each opponent when they’re at their most desperate:
The Iron Curtain: A minigun adorned with the finest of Soviet irons and mahoganies, this prized member of the people’s munitions cache could belong to just one person instead: You.
Enthusiast’s Timepiece: Traditionally acquired strictly through amicicide, the Enthusiast’s Timepiece can be yours to cherish, simply for knocking a man out of a poker tournament.
Crimestomper Combo: With the Lugermorph and License to Maim in hand, nothing will stand between you and your life-long dream of being a Freelance Police officer.
Dangeresque, Too?: Looks like you’re going to have to jump... into a hot new look! With this brand new pair of Dangeresque shades, you’ll always look and feel your best.
In Poker Night, the banter you’ll hear around the table is as much a part of the game as the cards you play. Each opponent brings their own personality to the game, in the stories they tell and the plays they make. Tonight you’ll be playing against:
Max: One half of the crime-fighting team known as Sam & Max: Freelance Police, Max is a three-foot-tall hyperkinetic rabbity-thing with no impulse control and an old German Luger hidden somewhere on his person. Where he keeps it is none of your damn business, but you can win it off him if he remembers where he is for long enough to toss it on the table.
Strong Bad: Back in the mid 2000s, Strong Bad licensed away his handsome and cool likeness for a point-and-click adventure game, and he’s been stuck doing promotional guest appearances ever since. When not frequenting secret backroom poker games to grouse about how “none of you chumps can handle my style,” he can still be found answering the occasional email at Homestar Runner dot com.
Tycho: A connoisseur of life’s finest things, Penny Arcade’s Tycho frequents The Inventory for its storied history, its immense library, the esteemed company one finds around its gaming tables, and the opportunities all of the above provide to absolutely wreck a bunch of fools at cards.
The Heavy: A mercenary from Team Fortress 2’s RED team, the Heavy isn’t sure how he got here for tonight’s game or who these strange baby men around the table are. But since he is here, he’ll do what he always does: march forward, slowly squishing the tiny baby men beneath his feet like tiny baby ants. Then he will be the last one standing, and hopefully they’ll let him go home.
Released in 2010 and removed from sale nine years later, Poker Night was an experimental casual game from the studio renowned for episodic series like Sam & Max and The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series. This new version has been lovingly remastered by Skunkape Games, a small team of former Telltale employees who worked on the original.
Recently Renovated: The Inventory and its guests look better than ever, with a top-to-bottom visual refresh, featuring higher resolution models, a more detailed environment, crisper animation, and new lighting.
Now With Even More Fiddly Knobs: In addition to tuning how much table talk you want to hear, you can now change the starting buy-in amount to literally raise or lower the stakes. There are also some new graphics features to up the filmic ambiance, like optional cinematic motion blur and film grain (they're off by default).
Your Gamepad Works: Poker Night now supports gamepads as well as its usual mouse input, so you can play it on your couch or handheld devices.
Actually Follows the Rules of Poker: The team stripped Poker Night’s original poker code down to parts, scraped the gunk away, and rebuilt it better than new. Poker Night at the Inventory now plays a far more accurate game of poker, and your opponents will make more informed decisions that better fit their play style and personality.

MORE TO COME IN EARLY ACCESS
The Spire truly is ever-changing… in more ways than one. More content—including cards, events, environments, enemies, and more—will be added and balanced throughout Early Access. Join the journey early to be a part of the Spire’s next evolution.
Why release in Early Access, you ask? Slay the Spire's success comes from our community! It sounds corny, but the extra mile many of you went to report issues, translate content/announcements, create long video essays, make excellent (lol) tier lists, and draw goofy or gorgeous fan art is the reason we're doing it all again. We love our job!
At the beginning of the 20th century, a conflict known as The Great War ravaged Europe, destroying most of its cities and wiping off an entire generation of adult men and women.
Amidst the ruins of old Europe, teenagers fight a war they themselves didn't start.
After experiencing a revealing dream, 19-year-old sergeant Maria Strauss decides she will do whatever it takes to stop the war.
Can she do it? Will she succeed where so many others have failed?
...
In this highly innovative and experimental visual novel, we have done something few others have tried: we took inspiration directly from early 20th century art to create a narrative that portrays the horrors of war properly, all the while still remaining loyal to the famous anime aesthetics and its tropes.

The deities have shunned the Vollings, and they have turned to paganism to survive. But Vollings are resilient and ever industrious. One lord has embarked on an enterprise to settle an island long abandoned by its dead civilization, braving a cursed land in hopes of farming a lucrative spice grown only on its hillsides.
His venture is a success, but trouble quickly presses fast upon him from many sides. As he is leaving to sail out to defend his fields from a jealous neighbor, he has received word that every inhabitant of one of his farm holds has vanished without a trace. With few options at hand, he calls on his guards for four volunteers to venture across the island to investigate this mystery.
Party-based adventure
Explore the island of Invimona in this open-world adventure with four generated companions. Depending on the stats given to them they'll each have unique choices in dialogue with NPCs and amongst each other as they bond over the course of the journey. You're assigned a pack-boro for your mission, who can carry a boat as well as extra items you pick up along the way, and together you all can hike and portage around the Invimona rivers and sea.
Visit towns for clues and to stock your party with unique items. As a guard you will be asked for assistance as you meet various farmers, scribes, artisans and even Gadaars among the holds. In the five years since the island was settled, grave robbers have flocked to Invimona like vultures, and ensuring they find their way to Exile Island is a constant battle.
There is no auto-compass or quest logs for you in Banquet for Fools, though many quests and requests are given to you in scrolls. Navigating the island effectively is a part of the challenge of quests.
Combat
Banquet for Fools features brawl-style, beat-em-up combat. When your action bar fills, you can pause the game by opening your combat dome, and choose an action and/or target within the dome. Play as one guard at a time, while the others will continue to attack, defend, kick, charge and pin at will. You can switch leaders at any time or tap in a support guard for combo attacks - working together is key to success.
If enemy combatants are too heavily defended, use a critical attack to weaken that enemy for follow up attacks for your companions, or add your attacks together when you unlock Rally attacks during combat to strike simultaneously!
Skills
Equip your four companions you've created with a variety of skills to overcome the challenges your adventure will take you through. Choose favored weapons, armor, pagan spells, animal binding, music and rogue abilities and level them up with experience or with buying training from individuals you meet around the island. Skills used most are granted bonuses to get more powerful with level ups.
Character Advancement how you want
When a character accrues enough XP they can choose to level up their skills and a stat point. You have 3 points to distribute into any of the skills you wish to pursue, and skills you’ve used frequently during the interim of the last level up are granted bonus points if you advance them.
Intercessions
Though the Volling have entered a pagan age, their ancient deities still listen through their likeness in stone, and perhaps if they find the speakers worthy, speak back...
Asking for intercessions from these beings grants Vollings the ability to make custom holy items uniquely tailored to those favored, but these boons come with a required donation and completion of a quest to deem yourself worthy. These beings are petty gods, and competitive, so choose your statues wisely. Find ancient and newly erected statues around the island with various powers to bestow, and bless new intercessions with even more powerful versions as you advance.
Songs
Configure your musical setlist during combat by buying songs with situational auto-procing and potency levels. Songs can proc at the start of a battle, after an enemy is fallen, when companions are low on health, and a myriad of options between! You can memorize a limited amount of songs at once with different power levels, so choose which songs are heaviest and when they’ll occur to compliment your playstyle and party composition.
Pagan Spells
Learn unique spell effects from different Vol trees, then make a custom spell of your choosing by taking its birch and etch your rune in blood to communicate this tether with the world. Create more powerful variants as you grow in power during the course of your travels. There are three Pagan skills: Fauna, Vines, and Spores, each with different specialties and application to the world.
Rogue
A wily party knows when to keep the law they're employed to uphold, when to bend it, and when breaking it is the best course of action. Items can be stolen from shops, but at the cost of not being able to be purchased again, and getting caught is always a risk. Guards and merchants follow patrols and sleep schedules, so keeping tabs on your surroundings and waiting for the changing of the guard is a ripe opportunity.
Committing crimes will accrue a price on your head, and the Vollings of the villages will treat you accordingly. You can always pay off a local bounty by yelling bribe.
Field Kit
Running out of arrows mid-dungeon? Stuck on an island with Padurii children hiding in every tree and low on explosive elyxirs? Having a field kit in your inventory allows a party to re-supply while away from shops during hikes across the island. The field kit allows you to assemble ammunition for three types of categories: arrows, rivi-wraps, and globes.
Arrows come from finding wood pieces and various types of arrow heads from wildlife, rivi-wraps are crafted from noxious and volatile foliage in crevices, and you can convert amphoras of alcohol from healing items into explosive elyxirs globes with various added effects.
Guard Duties
The Pavura requests that instead of being executed, criminals be shipped off to a husk of a rock just north of his garrison which the locals call Exile Island. The local ghost population is haunting enough, and the ethereal grave keepers of the Carrion god would want nothing more than to add to this assembly.
You can choose on the fly if your party is attacking to kill or stun, the consequence of which is yours to decide. Killing hostile combatants is less risky, but they could be resurrected into ghosts if a keeper is near. Stunning will knock out your enemy for 24 hours, and if that enemy is a bandit or grave robber, you can report them for coins in your purse, though Exile Island will get more populated with each turn-in. Stunned criminals will only stay stunned for so long, and you’ll need to reach a local fort or village to tell another guard to send a wagon and pick up your purse.
The list of criminal acts is something worth keeping in mind before exacting justice, and your characters need to bear witness, otherwise unless your characters have proof of the crime they’ll be the ones committing it when assaulting.
Farmsteads and holdings from various other Houses from Minorev have settled the island under the Pavura's governance, and will have various problems that they wish someone would help them deal with. As a guard you’ll find quests and duties within to attend to. Your relationship with towns is unique to each, and if the reeve commends you it could come with fine rewards.
About
This game is being created by two people. We've released Isle of Bxnes, Serpent in the Staglands (which is set in the same world as Banquet for Fools) and under a publisher, Mechajammer.
Early Access
Banquet for Fools is feature complete, we’re working on maps and content for the game over this autumn and winter. We’re essentially done with all the hard parts and only have content to work on, and thought it would be a good time to open it up for ruleset suggestions and feedback for balancing out your gameplay. It’s a single player experience so we’re not too worried about over-balancing, but want all play styles to have challenges and areas of success.
Our plan is to do integer version updates of chunks of maps, and anything between will be patches/updates from suggestions or issues.
You should be able to start a character at any point in Early Access and be able to continue seamlessly through updates to the end of the game. Some songs/intercessions may change, these are hardcoded, but you’ll be able to use them regardless of updates. Ruleset numbers and item numbers will certainly change over time as we fine tune everything. Due to the unique nature of creating custom spells, if spell effects have major changes you won’t be able to make a similar spell again, but your existing custom spells will still be able to be used throughout your session. We’ll let folks know if this changes in any way.
In Early Access 4.0, there are currently dozens of unique creatures implemented into the island, 5 races of Vollings to play as, and over 200 unique items. Weapon types have unique animations. Skills and abilities are all fully functional along with their adjacent support systems to play, including crafting your own spells and rune images for them, and using your field kit to create projectiles like arrows, rivi-wraps and elyxirs when hiking.
Completed for 4.0:
Pagan Spells
Songs
Intercessions
Binding
Field Kit use for arrows, darts, elyxirs
Sneaking
Lockpicking
Bartering dispositions
All weapon types
Repairing
Sleeping at the garrison
Sailing

Iron Legacy is a hardcore, top-down 2D Action RPG built for those who find peace in the grind. Inspired by the relentless progression of classics like Mu Online and Helbreath, it strips away the fluff to focus on what matters: killing monsters, finding loot, and scaling your power to infinite heights.
THE INFINITE ASCENSION: REBIRTH & LEGACY
Death is not the end, and neither is the level cap. In Iron Legacy, progression is a cycle that fuels your power.
Rebirth (Reset): Once you hit your limit, reset your level to 1. In exchange, you gain permanent stat points that make your next journey faster and deadlier.
Legacy (Master Reset): For the truly dedicated. Sacrifice your progress to ascend to a Legacy Rank, unlocking God-tier rewards, permanent XP multipliers, and the legendary Legacy Weapon—a relic that scales with your soul.
SATISFYING COMBAT & DOMINANCY
Experience the "satisfying crunch" of 2D combat. Whether you are a Warrior holding the line, a Mage raining Energy Bolts or an Archer showering arrows, the goal is clear: total map control. Farm your favourite "spots," survive the hordes, and feel the progression as you go from struggling with snakes to obliterating bosses.
Choose from three distinct classes, each designed to dominate the battlefield in its own way:
The Warrior: A melee powerhouse. Master the Defend Stance to shrug off blows and toggle between powerful Auras that buff you and your allies.
The Mage: Control the elements. From devastating Energy Bolts to crowd-controlling Ice Storms, the Mage also provides crucial Stat Buffs and Shields to keep the party alive.
The Archer: High-speed precision. Stay mobile and rain death from afar with rapid-fire projectiles.
MASTER YOUR ARSENAL
Build your character your way. There are no fixed paths—only your choices and your dedication.
Deep Stat Customisation: Distribute points into STR, AGI, VIT, and INT to fine-tune your combat style.
Spell & Weapon Mastery: The more you use a specific weapon type or spell, the more proficient you become. Mastery reduces costs, increases damage, and speeds up your casting.
Passive Expertise: Scale your power through dedicated mastery systems that reward long-term play.
MASTER THE BESTIARY
You don't just kill monsters; you study them. As you defeat enemies, your Monster Expertise grows.
Learn their weaknesses: Higher expertise levels grant you bonus damage and damage reduction against specific species.
Better Butchery: The more you know a monster, the more effectively you can loot it, increasing your rare drop chances.
9-PLAYER CO-OP & SYNERGIES
The world is dangerous, but you don't have to face it alone. Host a session for up to 9 players (8 friends + host) and dominate the map together.
Class Synergies: Warriors provide powerful Defensive and Offensive Auras that benefit the whole party.
Mage Support: Mages aren't just damage dealers—they provide critical Protection, Healing, and Berserk buffs to keep the frontline standing.
Shared Glory: Coordinate your builds to tackle higher-tier zones and split the legendary loot.
Shared Progression: Kill together on the same spot to trigger Bonus XP and Shared Mastery Progression. In Iron Legacy, you don't compete for resources—you grow stronger, faster as a team.
A LIVING WORLD: DYNAMIC EVENTS
The map is constantly changing, offering new opportunities for those who are ready.
Happy Hour: Random zones receive a massive 2x XP boost for a limited time. Watch the map and move fast!
Super Boss Packs: High-density hordes of Minibosses and Bosses can spawn anywhere, anytime, offering high risks for high rewards.
BUILT BY A PLAYER, FOR PLAYERS
Iron Legacy is an agile, solo-developed project. I don't just write the code; I play the game every day to ensure the balance feels "just right."
Agile Development: New features, items, and systems are added frequently.
Infinite Ideas: The roadmap is shaped by my very own gameplay experience and community feedback.
No Corporate Bloat: Just a developer and a community working to build the ultimate 2D grinding experience.
Nestled at your screen’s edge, a tranquil idle world unfurls as you go about your day. Plant gorgeous trees, look after adorable animals, and mingle with merry goblins—your forest keeps blooming in the background.
A cozy companion for busy days. While you work, browse, or simply breathe, your little woodland quietly grows. Check in when you like to harvest, care, and expand the forest - then let the magic continue on its own. No pressure, no pop-ups, just gentle progress and small moments of delight.
Grow a Living, Breathing Grove
Plant & nurture: Start with saplings and watch them flourish into a lush, whimsical forest. Unlock new tree types and arrange your grove to your taste.
Care for critters: Adopt adorable animals which will complete simple care tasks.
Befriend goblins: Meet merry goblins with a fondness for fishing and cozy chatter.
Made to Be Unobtrusive
Low-profile at the screen’s edge: Lives quietly along the bottom of your desktop - always present, never in the way.
Ambient progression: Your forest thrives even when you’re focused elsewhere. Step in for a minute or an hour; the grove welcomes both.
Gentle rhythms: Short check-ins, satisfying upgrades, and tiny surprises that make everyday moments feel a bit more magical.
Play Your Way
Set your pace: Play actively during breaks or let the grove idle while you tackle your to‑do list.
Customize the vibe: Arrange trees, place decorations, and curate your own cozy corner of wonder.
Relax-first design: Calming feedback, soft animations offer a comforting experience.

A short visual novel created as a way to reflect on working on game development alone. Essentially, it is a collection of different images — some of them very real — of inner voices and sounds, shaped into a small story.
I used this format to quickly and honestly convey my state to those who will read it, and to show that if you are going through a similar crisis right now, you are not alone.
Features
