Playtime's over. Everybody back to their cubby.

Happy Paws Doggy Daycare has had a very good day and it shows. Four thousand and eighty toy pups lie in heaps on the play rugs, hats askew, and every one of them belongs in a cubby somewhere in the hall.

Pick up a pup. See what it is: a Pirate Corgi, a Rocket Dach, a Chef Pug. Walk it to the right shelves, find its row, set it down. That is the whole game, and it is very hard to stop.

What you do

  • Pick up, carry, place. One pup at a time, in first person. A green outline shows where it will stand before you let go.
  • Decide where each kind lives. Rows start blank. The first pup you put on a row claims it for its kind, so the layout of every shelf is yours.
  • Fill rows of ten. Each pup on its own row earns a little money, and a full row is a small, satisfying finish.
  • No timer, no fail state. Nothing chases you and nothing breaks. Put a pup on the wrong row and you simply move it later.

What's in the hall

  • 4,080 pups of 408 kinds: corgis, pugs, dachshunds and chihuahuas in six coat colours.
  • Six themes: Pirates, Farm, Space, Jobs, Halloween and Beach, each with its own outfits, from tricorn hats and jetpacks to pumpkin suits and surfboards.
  • One very large daycare: 102 cubby units under bunting and skylights, with town-view windows, dog beds and a front desk.
  • A gentle original soundtrack made for long, quiet sorting sessions.

Play it your way

  • Keyboard and mouse or gamepad, including the menus.
  • The daycare saves itself after every pup. Stop whenever you like and carry on later.
  • Steam Cloud: start on your PC, continue on your Steam Deck.

Good with a podcast, a cup of tea, or ten minutes that turn into two hours.
