Have you ever wondered what it's like to be in a situation where you can't trust anything?

Not even your own friend?

Mimic Alert is a horror game with a single-player campaign and two-player online co-op. You'll explore a quarantine zone full of mimics that can take the form of almost any object or person.

Fortunately, you'll have various tools to detect them: scanners, grenades, traps, and even Soviet hardbass. You can provoke mimics in different ways, but with each shift, they become more cunning and dangerous.

Try not to let them outsmart you. And remember: sometimes the most dangerous mimic is the one walking right next to you.

PLAY TOGETHER

Invite a friend through Steam and play the campaign together, with shared progression and smarter mimics.

Or try Challenge mode: larger buildings, more mimics, six rounds and a limited supply of glowsticks to mark cleared rooms.

DAY AND NIGHT

Every shift starts in daylight. Walk through the building and memorize it: furniture, boxes, chairs and everything else that belongs there.

At night, the power goes out. You have a flashlight, a revolver and six precious rounds.

Mimics hide among the objects. Some are new, some have replaced something that was there, and some barely move at all. You'll have to rely on your memory to find them.

Turn off your flashlight and wait. Some mimics move in the dark, then freeze when the light comes back on.

As you progress, some will stalk you from behind and attack when you turn around.

THE PEOPLE

Scientists, technicians and nurses still live at the research sites. Talk to them during the day and remember what they tell you.

At night, one of them might be a mimic wearing their face.

If you shoot a real person, the shift is over. If you shoot a mimic, you'll find out what's underneath.
