A tiny board. A big cat-pushing showdown.
NyanGO is a 4×4 competitive board game inspired by Go.
Each player has just 5 cat pieces. Like Go, your goal is to surround your opponent—but here, you can also push pieces.
The board is small and the rules take minutes to learn, yet every move can shift the whole board, making for intense mind games.
How to Play
On your turn, choose one of these 3 actions:
Place: Put a cat from your hand on an empty square
Move: Move one of your cats 1 square up, down, left, or right. Any cat in the way gets pushed
Take Back: Once all 5 cats are on the board, return one of them to your hand
Push & Stun
A pushed cat is stunned by the impact and can't be moved or taken back on the next turn.
Each stun leaves a crack—a cat stunned 3 times in total shatters, and its owner loses instantly.
Push, hold your ground, or let them push you? Every push is both attack and defense.
How to Win
Completely surround your opponent's cat (or connected group) with your cats or the board's edge
Stun an opponent's cat 3 times to shatter it
Game Modes
Random Match: Ranked online battles. Climb the ranks: Rabbit → Cat → Tiger → Wolf → Ox Class
Passcode Match: Play against a friend who enters the same passcode
Level Challenge: Take on CPU opponents of increasing strength, stage by stage. Playable offline
Local 2-Player (Hot Seat): Take turns on the same PC. With Remote Play Together, you can also play with friends far away
Unlockables
You start with the cat pieces—clear the Level Challenge or reach new ranks to unlock Rabbit, Tiger, Wolf, and Ox pieces.
